Out of 100 projects spanning 32 countries; 20 finalists have been selected for the 2018 Breakthrough Auggie Awards! The brand new award categories, which will be presented in partnership with IEEE and VR First this week at AWE EU 2018, are:
• Most Innovative Breakthrough
• Most Impactful Breakthrough
• Women XR Laureate

All three awards honour promising XR projects at the intersection of academia and industry. In addition to the Auggie Award itself, the winners will also receive an Aryzon AR headset (www.aryzon.com), the world's first affordable augmented reality headset.
